A short and sweet post from me today, as the pictures explain it all really. I recently bought this cute palette for a bargain £8 as part of my ASOS haul, so I thought it would be nice to show some swatches of it. The quote alone is enough to draw me in...(love a good quote me!)
I read somewhere that one of the best places to test lipstick or gloss is on the fingers as this is apparently most similar in shade to your lips, so there we go...
These first two shades below are the more reserved of the bunch, though the first is slightly on the shimmery '13-year-old-me' side. However, I do think it would look nice as a subtle highlighter for the center of the lips.

I was slightly wary of the 'rosy posy' shade below, but it's not nearly as garish as it looks. I've always been pretty hesitant to experiment with lip colour, but I'm seeing a lot of this purple colour for lips at the moment (very Mac Heavenly Hybrid), and it actually looks really nice.

I love the coral-ish shade of the 'siren' gloss below, and I think it'll make a great pop of colour to go with simple cat-flick liner eyes and heaps of mascara! I expected this last gloss 'merlot' to be much darker than it is, but it's actually quite similar to 'sangria' above. Slight disappointment but still a nice shade so nothing to wail about in my opinion.
